Tintin Figure Oliviera
Beautiful statue from the Tintinimaginatio collection The Imaginary Museum of Tintin: Oliveira Da Figueira.
The characters and objects in this new series are taken from the poster Hergé made for the 1979 exhibition, Le Musée Imaginaire de Tintin. Each figurine comes in a special box with a certificate of authenticity.
In June 1979, a major exhibition was inaugurated at the Center for Fine Arts in Brussels, which would later be held at other locations. Hergé was not involved in the details of the exhibition, but the creators explained that the intention was to juxtapose some of the objects Tintin encounters in his adventures with the real objects that inspired them. In the poster he created for the exhibition, Hergé drew his main characters in the middle of an imaginary exhibition, the stuff of dreams for Tintin fans and collectors. Taken from Chronologie d'une œuvre - volume 7.
Comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Height: 25cm.
